Apologia’s Mathematics 1 curriculum is written to your student in a conversational tone and cultivates independent learning skills. As a hands-on, interactive elementary math curriculum, Exploring Creation with Mathematics, Level 1 was designed to take the student on a journey to learn how numbers help us describe our world and our universe. In level 1, students learn addition, subtraction, place value, measurement and data, and geometry.

The Exploring Creation with Mathematics Series utilizes a mastery approach. Topics are connected using a built-in review with the skills practice sections, while the hands-on projects introduce and reinforce concepts and make learning stick!
